Evri in Bury St Edmunds is recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (Cat CE) to join our growing depot. You will drive longer routes, ensuring parcels are collected and delivered safely, and you will update paperwork while assisting depot staff with heavier items when needed.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week with some weekend shifts. Night shifts typically start between 00:00 and 02:00.

Qualificações

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) entitlements and Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph knowledge or experience.
• Ability to plan routes and adapt to changing conditions.
• Reasonable physical fitness for manual handling if required.

Responsabilidades

• Drive longer routes in waves to client sites and depots.
• Ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; update paperwork.
• Assist depot staff with heavier items when needed.
• Monitor road/weather conditions and suggest alternative routes.
• Work on night shifts; weekend work may be required.

WhatYoullDo:

Our?HGV Class 1 drivers?usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in theEVRinetwork.Youllensure parcels are collected and deliveredsafely;paperwork updated andassistdepot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weatherdontalways play nicely, soyoullneed to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.

Our Night shift typically starts between00:00-02:00

What We Can Offer You:

£17.61per hour with an overtime rate of£26.42

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
