Job summary

Driver Hire Exeter is seeking a reliable Ad Hoc Van Driver to support a range of clients across the region. You’ll work independently, handle varied tasks, and take bookings as they come in.

Starting times typically between 05:00 and 08:00; operations run Monday to Sunday; duties may include multi drop delivery, collections, site runs, or general driving support. PAYE rate £12.80 per hour plus £1.54 holiday pay totals £14.34 per hour with onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be eligible to work in the UK.
• No more than six points on your licence due to insurance rules.
• Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• Professional attitude and clear communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Duties may include multi-drop deliveries, collections, site runs, or general driving support.
• Operate on an ad hoc basis, with work offered as bookings come in.
• Maintain safety, timeliness and customer service during deliveries.
