Job summary

Achuman Capital Limited is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join an elite international law firm in Glasgow, within the Catastrophic & Complex Injury team. The role involves supporting a Defendant Personal Injury practice with complex claims, including brain injury and spinal injury, across motor, EL/PL, and cross-border matters.

The successful candidate will advise on liability investigations, policy coverage, litigation, and quantum assessments for multi-track claims, while building strong

Qualifications

• 1–5 PQE in Catastrophic & Complex Injury preferred.
• Strong background in Motor Personal Injury and EL/PL.
• Outstanding academics.
• Technically excellent.

Responsibilities

• Advise on liability investigations, policy coverage assessments, litigation and quantum assessments for all levels of multi-track claims.
• Support clients in claim solutions for complex and severe cases, including traumatic brain injury, amputation, and spinal injury.
• Develop client relationships across insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations.
• Collaborate independently and in a team to manage casework and drive outcomes.

The Role

We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Catastrophic & Complex Injury team within their Glasgow office.

The successful candidate will join an esteemed Defendant Personal Injury practice, supporting clients in claim solutions for complex and severe cases, including traumatic brain injury, amputation, and spinal injury. The candidate will work across a diverse range of claims, including motor, EL/PL, and cross-border claims. Responsibilities include advising on matters such as liability investigations, policy coverage assessments, litigation, and quantum assessments for all levels of multi-track claims.

This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work with renowned clients across the nation, with chances to develop excellent client relationships across a range of insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations.
