Job summary

Durham University is seeking a Casual Transport & Logistics Support to move musical instruments and theatre equipment around Durham City and beyond. Interviews will occur and shifts start in November 2026. This role offers flexibility and supports activities across campus venues.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Ability to safely load and unload equipment.
• Ability to communicate with students, staff and venues.

Responsibilities

• Ad hoc van driving to move instruments and equipment around Durham City (and occasionally further afield).
• Safely load, transport and unload equipment to venues, then return at the end of events.
• Work with student leaders, university staff and venue staff to ensure transport requirements are met.
