A local events management company in Aberdeen City is looking for a casual AV Technician. The ideal candidate should have relevant technical skills and experience in AV technology support, including sound and lighting control. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer experiences during events and requires strong interpersonal and troubleshooting abilities.

Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023 , where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership . This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above . (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,727 per annum / £ 15.97 per hour).
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members , and this cost will be deducted from an employee's first FULL month's salary payment.
Beach Ballroom is seeking a casual AV technician to join our Operations Team at the Ballroom.
The AV technician will exemplify a passion for Hospitality, Events and AV technology along with being a proponent of cultivating a positive and inclusive employee culture. In this role, the AV Technician will partner with and report directly to the Senior Technician and Duty Manager.
The AV Technician provides and supports all services used to deliver technology to our customers and associates, including networking, desktop support, audio, video, audio & video conferencing, webcasting and lighting for different types of meetings and events. The AV Technician works closely with customers and the AV management Team to deliver an excellent meeting, conference and working experience. The person in this role also works directly with other Ballroom staff to deliver excellent client experiences.
