Salary: TCHUN01

Hours per week: As and when required on a casual basis depending on service needs. Full budget provided by schools buying in to the service as a Traded service.

Location: Main office will be Oldham Council, Spindles Shopping Centre, West Street, Oldham, OL1 1LF, but will be mainly working in Oldham Active Swimming Pools and Centres throughout Oldham, and schools.

Closing Date: Wednesday 31st December 2025

Role Overview

Working within the Council’s School Swimming Service to provide safe swimming lessons to Oldham Schools across the borough. Working alongside the school support staff. Helping to promote water safety and complete the national curriculum expectations. Also need the ability to be organised, flexible to cover lessons at short notice and an understanding of child development/behaviour and safeguarding. There may be opportunities for regular weekly term time hours depending on the service needs.
