Job summary

Story Contracting Limited is seeking an experienced Casual POS/Crane Controller to join our operations team on-site. The role focuses on maintaining exclusion zones around operating plant, ensuring compliance with Sentinel rules and Network Rail standards, and coordinating with operators, supervisors and customers to deliver safe, efficient work aligned with site plans.

Qualifications

• PTS certification is mandatory.
• COSS certification required, minimum 2 years experience.
• Sentinel Slinger certification
• Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and Network Rail standards
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• MC1, MC4 and CC3 competencies

Responsibilities

• Maintain exclusion zones around operating plant.
• Ensure compliance with Sentinel rules, Network Rail codes of practice and site-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors and customers to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and to plan.

• Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification
• Proven experience in the rail industry
• COSS certification (minimum 2 years)
• Sentinel Slinger certification
• Strong knowledge of H&S regulations, Network Rail standards and Sentinel rules
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• MC1, MC4 and CC3 competencies
