Job summary

Knowsley Council is seeking casual staff to cover holidays and absences in schools and public buildings. This rolling recruitment offers opportunities to work with a motivated team delivering cleaning and catering services to residents and pupils across Knowsley.

You will perform day-to-day cleaning tasks and assist with catering duties, including food preparation, dining room setup, service to children and kitchen cleaning. Training is provided and hours vary, as required.

Qualifications

• Day to day cleaning, i.e. buffing and vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets and other hard surfaces
• Carrying out task to ensure that a professional catering service is provided at a high standard i.e. preparing food, setting up the dining room, serving children, cleaning the kitchen etc.
• Relevant training will be provided.
