Job summary

Elior Stadia in Dundee United is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to support matchdays with flexible shifts and comprehensive on‑the‑job training. This role is ideal for fitting around other commitments and welcomes applicants with all levels of experience.

As a Kitchen Porter you’ll help keep the kitchen clean, support the chefs, manage stock rotation, handle basic prep, and assist with pots and washing up. A positive team player attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, well presented and well stocked.
• Support the Chefs, assisting with simple food prep when needed.
• Operate the till and ensure correct procedures are used.
• Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Put deliveries away and rotate stock.
• Wash up large pots and maintain hygiene standards.

Join the team at Dundee United as a Casual Kitchen Porter! With matchday and prep shifts available, this is a flexible role perfect for fitting around your other commitments. All levels of experience are welcome, and we’ll provide full training!

What you’ll be doing…

As a Kitchen Porter you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.

• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Ensure the kitchen area is always clean, well presented and well-stocked
• Support the Chef(s), making sure the kitchen environment is to high standards with ad hoc duties in simple food prep from time to time
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Operate the till point as required, ensuring correct procedures are used
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
• putting deliveries away and ensuring stock is rotation
• washing up of large pots etc

Working Pattern: Matchdays & As and when required

Salary: £10.85–£12.71 per hour, depending on age, in line with National Minimum Wage rates
