We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Porter at Bailbrook House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Bailbrook House lies above the historic city of Bath, surrounded by 20 acres of private grounds, and offers a dynamic environment for career development in luxury hospitality.

What will the role involve?

As a Kitchen Porter, you will support the delivery of an exceptional dining experience by ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. Working closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen brigade, your responsibilities include maintaining immaculate hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, dishwashing, cleaning equipment, and keeping back‑of‑house areas organised. You will support chefs by ensuring equipment, utensils, and service items are clean, available and ready for use at all times.

The role also involves assisting with basic food preparation when required, monitoring waste disposal, adhering to strict health and safety and food hygiene regulations, and supporting stock organisation and deliveries. This is a casual role where hours may vary depending on business.
