Sodexo Healthcare, on-site at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, seeks a casual Back of House catering assistant. You will help with food prep, portioning and service, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout the kitchen.

Tasks include stock control, refilling supplies and supporting chefs as needed. Role requires reliable attendance, good communication and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital catering environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication with colleagues, patients and clients.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a catering environment.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety in a kitchen.
• Experience in catering is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparation of food and safe service of meals.
• Support production, portioning and distribution of meals and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchens and equipment.
• Follow cleaning schedules and stock rotation procedures.
