Job summary

Hartpury University and College's Hartpury Sports Academy is recruiting a Casual Pitch-side Therapist to provide proactive pitch-side trauma care on matchdays. You will deliver high-quality clinical services to designated athlete groups on site, while following established EAPs and protocols.

Candidates should be Chartered Physiotherapist or Graduate in Sports Therapy/Rehab with PHICIS 2 or equivalent, possess relevant memberships and insurance, and be comfortable working independently with

Qualifications

• Eligible Chartered Physiotherapist or Graduate Sports Therapist/Rehab with proper membership and insurance.
• Degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation.
• Current PHICIS 2 or equivalent pitch-side trauma qualification.
• Experience delivering pitch-side medical care to athletes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pitch-side trauma care on matchdays.
• Deliver clinical services to designated athlete groups on site.

Fixed fee of £80 home game; £120 away game

About the Role

• Hartpury Sports Academy are looking for proactive and reliable clinicians to provide therapy services and pitch-side immediate care on matchdays.
• The role will involve taking responsibility to provide a high-quality pitch-side trauma care to designated athlete groups.
• You will be expected to use your initiative and work independently, whilst being guided by Hartpury Sports Academy Head of Medical Services.

About You

• You will be a passionate Chartered Physiotherapist, Graduate Sports Therapist or Graduate Sports Rehabilitator with relevant governing body memberships and insurance to join our current clinical team.
• You will hold a degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation.
• You will hold a current pitch-side trauma qualification (PHICIS 2 or equivalent).
• The successful candidate must be capable of providing a high-quality clinical service to designated athlete groups with experience in immediate pitch-side medical care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deliver a variety of face-face sessions.
