Funeral Partners Ltd. is seeking a Casual Funeral Service Operative for Acton Green, W4 5DD. The role involves varied hours, supporting mortuary tasks, fitting coffins, dressing the deceased, and assisting in funeral services.

The position offers an hourly rate of £14.79 plus weighting allowance and the chance to work around other commitments. Successful applicants will be calm, professional, and able to bring reassurance to families while ensuring smooth operations across duties and on-call

Responsibilities

• Your duties will include driving company vehicles, so you'll need a full driving licence.
• You'll also have a place on the out of hours, and on-call rota, which will provide an opportunity to earn additional payments.
• In addition to bringing people's loved ones into our care, Funeral Service Operatives play an active role behind the scenes, working in the mortuary, fitting coffins, and dressing the deceased; as well as participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and helping to ensure everything goes smoothly.
• Being a Funeral Service Operative can be challenging and rewarding, and no two days are quite the same.
