Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Casual Food Service Assistant at Marton Primary School, Blackpool. The role offers hourly pay of £12.71 with varied hours and shifts, and training will be provided. You’ll contribute to a welcoming service and maintain hygiene and safety standards on site.

In this role you’ll work as part of a team, support food preparation and serving, and help keep dining areas clean and well-organised. DBS checks may be required for safeguarding the children on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas.
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required.
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors.
