Overview

Please note this is a role primarily with hours over the Christmas Period. (November and December). However there may be permanent position available for the right individual.

Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Team Member is responsible for providing excellent service in the restaurant, bar, or room service areas of the hotel. This role includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally according to hotel standards.
  • Clear tables, reset them efficiently, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
  • Assist with preparing simple beverages, including coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
  • Provide room service as needed, including delivering trays to guest rooms.
  • Assist with bar service if required, including preparing basic alcoholic drinks.
  • Restock service areas with utensils, linens, condiments, and other supplies.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Handle guest requests, special dietary needs, or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is preferred.
