Job summary

Ormiston Horizon Academy is seeking casual Exam Invigilators to support students and staff during exams. No prior invigilator experience is required as full training will be provided by the Exams Manager.

Responsibilities include supervising examination rooms, distributing papers, and setting up exam spaces while following safeguarding procedures and exam rules. Roles are casual with a zero hours contract, and regular updates on dates will be provided by the Exams Manager.

Qualifications

• Be reliable and trustworthy.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skill.
• Possess good organisational skills.
• Have the ability to work effectively with students and adults.
• Have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Have, or be able to obtain, knowledge around safeguarding children, exam regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervising students in examination rooms.
• Distributing and collecting examination papers.
• Assisting with the set-up of exam rooms.
• Understanding and adhering to safeguarding procedures and exam regulations.
