Job summary

Changing Lives Learning Trust is seeking casual invigilators to support examination venues. The role includes preparing rooms to JCQ standards, transporting equipment and papers, and laying out stationery according to strict procedures.

You will supervise candidates, ensure quiet during exams, manage attendance, handle late arrivals and early leavers, and report breaches of rules. The post is Band B, Point 3, paying £13.26 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing examination rooms to meet JCQ requirements.
• Assist with setting up for examinations by transporting equipment and papers and laying out stationery and equipment.
• Closely follow and enforce exam procedures and regulations.
• Direct candidates to their seats and advise about possessions allowed inside venues.
• Instruct and supervise candidates to ensure quiet and proper conduct inside venues.
• Invigilate during examinations and address questions or irregularities per procedures.
• Check attendance during examinations and record late arrivals/early leavers.
• Ensure candidates know start and finish times and escort them as required.
