Job summary

The Prince of Wales Hospice is seeking Casual Event Catering Staff (Bank) to join The Caring Kitchen, the hospice catering service. You will work on shifts for catering events, serving meals and drinks, and helping with setup and clear-down.

Flexibility and availability for evenings, weekends and bank holidays are essential to support a well-loved local charity. Shifts are bank-based and cover various locations; successful candidates will be added to the bank list and may be called to provide

Casual Event Catering Staff (Bank)

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Bank (flexible, as and when required)

The Caring Kitchen is the catering service within the Hospice which also offers an external service to raise much needed funds to support the running of the Hospice and the care it provides. The Prince of Wales Hospice provides care to adults with life limiting illness, such as cancer, chronic heart or lung disease, helping people to live as well as possible with their illness and also cares for people at the end of their life.

Joining our bank as Casual Event Catering Staff you will be offered shifts to cover at our catering events, with duties such as serving meals, drinks and setting up for and clearing up after the events. Flexibility is essential as these shifts will include working at different locations locally and on different days of the week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. However, this does offer the opportunity for a good work life balance, allowing you to accept shifts that work for you.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
