Job summary

Parc Newydd Home for the Elderly in Talbot Green is seeking a Casual Care / Domestic Assistant to support our residents with daily living tasks, kitchen duties and personal care. The role requires reliability, good communication and a collaborative approach.

Training will be provided, including AWIF and registration with Social Care Wales; DBS and PPE are provided. Flexibility to cover shifts during week, weekends and nights is desirable, with an opportunity to join a compassionate team

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Reliable and able to work with others.
• Experience with older people or disability is advantageous.
• Willingness to complete AWIF and Social Care Wales registration.

Responsibilities

• General domestic tasks, kitchen duties and personal care of residents.
• Be flexible to cover shifts including weekends and nights.
• Participate in induction and shadow experienced staff.
