Job summary

Wishford Education - Commercial in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire is hiring a Camp Instructor for Early Years (ages 4–5) on a fixed-term contract. Casual hours, with a pay rate of £15.13 per hour (under 20s £12.21 per hour with holiday pay).

The role involves delivering age-appropriate activities, safeguarding, and supervising children throughout the day. You will work as part of a busy team, providing a warm, safe environment and supporting transitions, lunch supervision, and signs of wellbeing

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 4–5 years.
• Understanding of early childhood education and safeguarding practices.
• Experience coaching, teaching or instructing young people is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the wellbeing and happiness of the children in your care.
• Deliver a program of daily activities suitable for ages 4–5 in a safe environment.
• Lead and supervise a group of early years children during play and activities.
• Promote safeguarding practices and follow reporting procedures as required.
• Ensure premises are secure and door codes/locks are used correctly.
• Welcome and sign in/out children and accompany them to activities.
