Overview

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Casual Duty Officer to support the daily operation of our Sports Centre facilities. This hands-on role involves customer service, security, and general facility support across the College’s sports sites.

What you’ll do
  • Ensure the safety and security of buildings, rooms and sports facilities
  • Carry out patrols, respond to alarms and report incidents
  • Perform reception and customer service duties
  • Conduct gym inductions and promote memberships
  • Handle cash and follow strict financial procedures
  • Support with cleaning, equipment setup, and maintenance checks
  • Provide first aid and assist with emergency procedures when required
What we’re looking for
  • Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate and First Aid qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience in facility operations, customer service, or security
  • Confident communicator with good IT and organisational skills
  • Flexible and reliable - able to work evenings or weekends when needed
  • Full, clean driving licence essential
