We are currently recruiting for a Casual Conference & Banqueting Assistant at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is located in Nantwich the hotel is one of the most renowned country house hotels in Cheshire. Expertly blending old-world charm with modern amenities. This stunning award-winning property is proud to boast 4 AA Red Star status and several notable accolades for its dining.

  • The role of a Conference & Banqueting Assistant involves supporting the operations within this service area to Hand Picked Hotels standards ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
  • Responsible for the set-up and take-down of equipment (tables, chairs, props, decorations) ensuring timely delivery and ability to carry and move heavy items.
  • You will be expected to hold a good level of knowledge regarding food menu items and availability across all areas including the bar and restaurant.
  • Working towards the achievement of departmental goals, contributing ideas and being open to trying new ways of working. Take personal ownership, operating within role parameters.
  • As the Conference & Banqueting Assistant, you will be expected to communicate and delegate in line with business levels and daily functions and events.
  • Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team. To be considered for this role you will be passionate about delivering a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • You will be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities. Adopt a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
