Job summary

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is seeking a Casual Allstar Cheerleading Coach to lead evening cheer sessions in Hounslow. The role requires safeguarding training, a current DBS and emergency first aid certification, plus a willingness to travel to various venues across West London.

Qualifications

• Essential minimum Cheerleading Level 1 & 2
• Safeguarding certificate
• Emergency Aid certificate
• Current DBS
• Own means of transport
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in planning and delivering dance sessions
• Understanding of PE, sport and long-term athlete development
• Willing to lead and be fully involved in lessons
• Ability to travel to various workplaces within West London using own transport
• Flexible to work outside normal office hours

Responsibilities

• Deliver Cheer sessions with coaching at an appropriate level for all participants
• Create a safe and fun environment for participants to explore movement and perform to peers
• Help train and attend groups for competitions and displays
• Develop relationships with participants, staff, carers, parents and partners for effective session delivery
• Keep registers, risk assessments and reporting documents up to date
• Access QA staff training offered by the Trust during the term
• Ensure equipment is available and well maintained
• Ensure topics and music are age appropriate
• Provide feedback to teachers, coaches and parents where appropriate
• Be aware of medical issues concerning participants
• Promote relevant trust offers
• Handle confidential information appropriately and follow data protection policies
• Act as a point of contact in emergencies and coordinate with authorities as needed
• Stay informed about safeguarding policies and best practices
• Participate in safeguarding training and emergency response sessions
• Report safeguarding concerns promptly to appropriate authorities
• Maintain accurate incident records and collaborate with team members
