Job summary

Initial is seeking an experienced Casting & Welfare Production Manager for a new commission in London. You will support the Line Producer through the complete casting process, manage timelines, contributor paperwork, budgets and logistics, and ensure compliant welfare procedures across editorial and production teams.

Job description

Initial are seeking an experienced & highly organised Casting & Welfare Production Manager for a new commission. We are looking for candidates who have a comprehensive understanding of casting, background checks, diligence & welfare processes. Experience of working with a streamer and strong understanding of PMI would be beneficial.

• Supporting the Line Producer with the end-to-end casting process, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics
• Oversee casting timelines, contributor paperwork, and compliance requirements
• Maintain clear communication between casting, editorial, and production teams
• Strong knowledge of casting workflows
• Excellent budgeting and scheduling skills
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Familiarity with compliance, duty of care, and contributor management

Must have at least 2 credits as a Production Manager

Dates: End of October 2026 – May 2027 (2 x week break over Christmas) Location: London
