Fortune Brands Innovations is recruiting a Casting Operative for our i54 Wolverhampton facility. You will join a fast‑paced, hands‑on team on the afternoon shift (2pm–10pm), preparing and processing casting moulds and cores to produce luxury sinks known worldwide for quality and heritage.

You will work in a temperature‑controlled environment, ensuring safety, adherence to SOPs, and high standards of workmanship while supporting continuous improvement and teamwork across the production line.

Formación

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or factory environments is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, powder and maintain casting cases and drums for production.
• Pour and process clay mixtures following SOPs.
• Support de-moulding with care to uphold quality.
• Prepare casting moulds and cores for accurate production.
• Monitor casting operations and flag issues early to protect quality.
• Carry out mould replacement as needed and operate mould-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain site housekeeping and safe working environment.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Shaws as a Casting Operative within our growing manufacturing team at our world-class facility on the i54 Business Park, Wolverhampton. This position will be working on our afternoon shift from 2pm til 10pm. As a Casting Operative, you will play a vital role in the production of our luxury sinks. Working with specialist clay mixtures and casting moulds, you will help create beautifully crafted products that are recognised worldwide for their quality and heritage. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, pride in your work and a commitment to quality are key to success.

Please note - applicants should be comfortable working in a temperature‑controlled environment where temperatures can exceed 30°C

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Preparing, powdering and maintaining casting cases and drums ready for production
• Pouring and processing clay mixtures in line with standard operating procedures
• Supporting the de‑moulding process with care and attention to quality
• Preparing casting moulds and cores to ensure products are manufactured accurately
• Monitoring casting operations and identifying potential issues before they impact quality
• Carrying out mould replacement activities when required
• Operating mould‑handling equipment safely and effectively
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within your work area
• Supporting dust control measures and maintaining a safe working environment
• Reporting equipment concerns, process issues or material defects to the Team Leader
• Understanding the impact your role has on product quality and customer satisfaction
• Following all health, safety and quality procedures at all times

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or factory environment is advantageous
