Job summary

We Do Group is seeking an experienced Cash & Banking Finance Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. The role covers bank reconciliations, cash posting, refunds and account reconciliations across multiple sites and payment providers.

You will work in the Cash & Banking team handling daily postings, reconciliations in Sage, and liaising with Credit Control, Management Accounts, Operations and-site teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a finance environment.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and cash posting.
• Proficiency with Sage accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Own bank reconciliations and post cash movements.
• Process journals and imports in Sage.
• Prepare weekly payment-provider reports and monthly cash reconciliations.
• Investigate variances and resolve discrepancies with sites.
• Support refunds processing and general cash/banking tasks.
• Maintain suspense accounts and assist wider Cash & Banking team.
