Cash Allocations Clerk - 9 Month Contract

Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire - Hybrid working

What will you be doing?
  • Posting daily BACS and Credit Card payments on accounting systems (Workday and Sage)
  • Resolving queries
  • Assisting external customer queries regarding unallocated cash while maintaining data protection
  • Allocating transfers
  • Ensuring cheques are processed promptly and accurately
  • Processing indemnities and netting
  • Requesting and processing refunds
  • Keeping accounting spreadsheets up to date
  • Calling Monthly DD run and posting once received

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Understanding the importance of meeting company SLAs
  • Excellent numerical ability
  • Polite and assertive verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work well under pressure
