Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Accounts role in Ipswich to support the Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions. You will post payments, resolve cash allocation issues, and assist with month‑end reconciliations while ensuring data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs with Maths/English, be IT literate, and show experience in a finance environment. This full‑time role offers growth through funded development and digital learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Minimum of 4 GCSEs with Maths and English.
• IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in treasury or accounts receivable is advantageous.
• Demonstrable administration skills and highly organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately post payments from bank statements to the correct customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Credit Control and Accounts Receivable to resolve unallocated cash and deductions.
• Reconcile payment batches daily and assist with month‑end reconciliations.
• Ensure payment data is logged, stored and audit compliant.
• Maintain aged debt records and reduce unapplied cash with the AR team.
• Flag unusual transactions or trends impacting cash flow or allocation efficiency.
