A government department in the UK is hiring Immigration Enforcement Caseworkers. The Home Office is hiring Immigration Enforcement Caseworkers within two of its business areas : National Returns Progression Command (NRPC) and Foreign National Offenders (FNO) Returns Commands. This role is a perfect fit for those who enjoy reading and processing information at pace to form decisions and arguments. Your quick thinking skills, attention to detail and exceptional customer service will help you make informed and fair decisions.
In NRPC, we progress the cases of people who have had their applications refused or rejected by the Home Office. We also oversee the removal or repatriation of foreign nationals who have no basis of stay in the UK.
In FNO, we consider the deportation of foreign nationals who have been convicted of a criminal offence in the UK and we ensure removal action is taken against those who have no basis of stay within the country.
You will be supported, coached and mentored by an experienced team and given full training enabling you to make considered, timely and fair decisions made in line with Home Office policy, guidance and with reference to relevant information. You will manage your caseload through the relevant processes, taking timely and accurate action and dealing with each person in accordance with our policies.
Some of the roles have line management responsibility, where you’ll be required to manage the workflow of an operational team and lead staff to provide the best possible service to our customers and stakeholders.
You’ll benefit from a starting salary of £25,750 or £29,750, depending on your location. We also offer a Civil Service Pension with employer contribution rates of at least 26.6%, flexible working and 25 days annual leave on appointment, rising with service.
