Special Works Lead

Salary: £30 000 PA for 40 hours per week + Opportunity to earn overtime.

Starting: ASAP.

Location: London.

Vehicle: A Company Van will be provided.

The Opportunity

The Special Works Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering specialist cleaning projects that fall outside of our routine contract cleaning, this includes Carpet and Window Cleaning. This is a hands‑on cleaning role where you will ensure that all special works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility as many of the jobs are carried out either early morning, late evening and on weekends. You will often work across multiple sites and coordinate with the wider operations team to meet project deadlines and compliance requirements.

Key Duties
  • Manage the Special Works Division (SWD) diary, ensuring all periodic and reactive jobs are scheduled in coordination with Account Managers.
  • Conduct site surveys for periodic and reactive works, ensuring accurate scope and resourcing.
  • Ensure job timesheets and completion reports are submitted promptly after each task, and shared with Account Managers and/or clients as required.
  • Maintain the SWD vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fully stocked, and that all equipment is regularly serviced. Report and arrange repairs for any faults immediately.
  • Oversee SWD team members, ensuring all work is carried out safely, PPE is compliant, and standards are consistently met.
  • Demonstrate good IT proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Essential
