Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor layer is essential.
• Carpet and vinyl installation experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install carpet and vinyl flooring to a high standard.
• Measure and prepare floors prior to installation.
• Cut, fit and secure flooring materials accurately.
• Prepare surfaces, including basic subfloor preparation where required.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high-quality finish.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Carry out general flooring and site duties as required.
• Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues and site managers.
