Area: Redhill and East London.
Pay per hour: Up to £45k per year.
Interview date: Asap
Start date: Mid Aug/Sept

The Carpentry lecturer will be responsible for:

  • A seasoned carpentry professional with comprehensive and recent industry experience.
  • Passionate about sharing knowledge and able to inspire and motivate students.
  • Equipped with a minimum Level 2 or 3, HND, degree, or professional industry qualification in Carpentry.
  • Holds a Level 5 Teaching qualification (e.g., DTTLS, Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed or PGCE) or is committed to achieving it.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of the subject specialism to teach across all levels.
  • Creative, adaptable, and possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
  • Dedicated to equality of opportunity and the principles of inclusive learning.
