Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges is seeking a full-time assessor in its Pathways Training department in Wales. You will deliver education, gain experience for a potential teaching career, and work 37 hours per week with some evenings and weekends.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 qualification, an Assessor Award, Level 2 Maths and English, and IT literacy to level 2. The college offers strong pension schemes and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification (NVQ/QCF or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and have relevant industrial experience along with an Assessor Award.
• Candidates require Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English and be IT Literate to level 2.
• Contract: Full time, permanent. 37 hours per week (incl evenings, occasional early mornings and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Deliver education as part of our Pathways Training department.
• Assist learners and support teaching activities with a view to progressing to teaching roles.
• Fulfil duties as an assessor and contribute to college education.
