United Colleges Group is seeking an ambitious Carpentry Industry Skills Tutor to manage a caseload of carpentery apprentices across College campuses. You will monitor attendance, progression and completion, provide pastoral support, and coordinate apprenticeship standards with employers and college staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a level 3 vocational qualification (plus Assessor and IQA awards) with up-to-date carpentry knowledge and strong communication, organisational and administrative

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant vocational qualification at or above level 3 and assessor/IQA awards.
• In-depth carpentry industry knowledge and employment opportunities.
• Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of apprentices and monitor progression.
• Coordinate achievement of apprenticeship standards and quality assurance.
• Develop individual action plans and set smart targets.
• Maintain accurate records in line with college requirements.
