Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our London team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will measure, cut, fit, install and repair wood, doors, windows, and cabinetry on residential and commercial projects across London.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of carpentry experience, a valid CSCS card, good reading of blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Blue CSCS Card.
• Health & Safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, drywall, and other materials to specifications.
• Constructing, installing, and repairing structures such as walls, doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Installing hardwood floors, windows, and doors.
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Collaborating with other team members on site to ensure efficient project completion.
• Keeping a clean and safe work environment at all times.
