Job summary

18 Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative to carry out planned repairs and maintenance across a large portfolio of residential properties. You will work to ensure residents live in safe, comfortable homes, using modern digital systems to manage workload and deliver high-quality service.

Role involves joining repairs with general maintenance tasks, diagnosing faults, and delivering practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven working knowledge of carpentry and other trades.
• Ability to diagnose issues and deliver practical repair solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in both occupied and void properties.
• Comfortable using handheld/PDA systems for job management.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work, including repairs and joinery.
• Undertake a wide range of general property maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs in a timely manner.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet targets.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety, quality, and customer service standards.
