North America Construction (1993) Ltd. is seeking a Carpenter/Formsetter to support a wastewater treatment plant project.

The role focuses on building and installing wooden and metal formwork, pouring concrete, and ensuring forms are accurately graded and finished to specification. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in heavy construction with advanced formwork experience, including residential basement formwork.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience with formwork in heavy construction.
• Advanced formwork experience required.
• Residential basement formwork experience is preferred.
• Concrete pouring and finishing experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safe operation of tools and lifting procedures.
• Hoisting and rigging experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build, layout and execute wooden forms and advanced formwork systems to project specs.
• Ensure forms are on grade and meet construction specifications.
• Use levels and measuring tapes to set forms to grade with minimal supervision.
• Construct and assemble/dismantle scaffolding as needed and move materials safely.
• Pour concrete and compact to required grade; finish surfaces as required.
• Maintain tools and safety obligations; mentor apprentices as directed.
