About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Technician with a core trade in carpentry and a knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards to join our team of talented people.

This role is based in the Bristol area.

Purpose of the role:

  • You will provide a high quality installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire doors throughout our portfolio.
  • You will be included in our out of hours service, ensuring the safety of our customers at all times.
  • You will act as an ambassador for LiveWest.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

About The Candidate

To be successful in your application for the role of Carpenter – Fire Door Installer, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

  • Experience in fitting fire doors and fire door sets to include upgrades/repairs.
  • Competent in using and updating a handheld smart phone or Tablet PC and associated apps.
  • Good general multi-skilled trade abilities.
  • Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery.
  • Desirable: Fire door level 2 install assessment
  • Desirable: Fire door Level 3 inspection.
  • Desirable: Experience of working in customers’ homes.
