A leading social housing provider in Braintree seeks a passionate Carpenter to join their Trades Team on a permanent basis. This role involves carrying out maintenance and repair work in residential properties, ensuring safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, a clean UK driving license, and relevant qualifications. This position offers a competitive salary of £34,302 per annum, 30 days paid annual leave, pension contributions, and other benefits, fostering a collaborative work culture.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Carpenter to join our Trades Team on a permanent basis to help maintain and improve our residents’ homes at Eastlight.
You’ll also ensure that residents’ homes are safe, well-maintained, and continuously improved, while promoting a positive company image through high-quality workmanship, effective time management, and a customer-focused approach.
In your day-to-day work, you will operate safely, professionally, and courteously, fully complying with Health & Safety legislation, policies, and procedures. You’ll remain mindful of residents’ individual circumstances, reporting any safeguarding concerns through the appropriate channels, and treating customers and their homes with respect and care. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, you’ll share ideas for service improvement, uphold Equality and Diversity principles, and conduct yourself in a way that builds trust and confidence with residents, colleagues, and the wider public.
