Job summary

Bloomcare Group invites applications for a Bank Laundry Assistant at Shawside Care Village. Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping or care experience would be ideal, although not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Washing and drying residents’ clothing, bedding and towels
• Ironing laundry where required
• Ensuring residents’ clothing is correctly labelled, organised and returned to the correct resident
• Keeping the laundry area and equipment clean and well maintained
• Following infection control and health & safety procedures
• Providing support with general housekeeping duties when required
