Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Brentwood is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant on a Bank basis to support catering operations and maintain high hygiene standards. You will assist in food preparation, keep the kitchen clean and well organised, and work as part of a caring team delivering quality meals to residents at Brentwood Arches Care Home.

A DBS check is required and will be supported by Avery. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Demonstrates high standard of personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, COSHH.
• Efficient, able to manage high workload with initiative.
• Caring and respectful attitude towards residents.
