Job summary

Bridge House Care Home in Kingston Bagpuize is seeking a Kitchen Assistant (Bank) to support our Chef in preparing nutritious meals for residents.

You will keep the kitchen clean and safe, help serve meals, and engage with residents daily with warmth and respect. The role includes training and a supportive team environment.

You must follow HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health standards; bank shifts offer flexible hours and a chance to grow.

Qualifications

• Understand HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health requirements.
• Ability to keep kitchen clean, safe and orderly during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef in preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents.
• Serve meals and interact with residents daily with kindness.
• Report kitchen faults to Chef or Head Caretaker.
