Job summary

Oxford Spires Academy in Oxford is seeking an experienced School Caretaker for the evening shift (16:00–22:00), Monday to Friday, to provide temporary cover at a busy secondary school.

The role focuses on opening and securing premises, basic maintenance, setting up rooms, site inspections, health and safety, and liaising with contractors. A DBS check and reliable, professional conduct are required for immediate start.

Qualifications

• Previous caretaker, maintenance or facilities experience.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (required).
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Reliable, professional and well-presented.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises.
• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs.
