A multi-academy trust in Greater London is seeking a Caretaker / Facilities and Maintenance Assistant. The position involves security, maintenance, and ensuring a clean environment in a busy secondary school setting. The ideal candidate should have NVQ Level 2 in Numeracy and Literacy, good communication skills, and knowledge of building maintenance. This full-time role offers a salary between £26,435 and £27,588 plus benefits.

SALARY: £26,435 - £27,588 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Stanmore, North West London (HA7)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week (all year round)
As part of a fast-growing multi-academy trust, this is a great opportunity for a Caretaker / Facilities and Maintenance Assistant to take pride in a well-kept, welcoming school site. You will support security, cleaning, repairs and room setups while promoting health and safety compliance.
As a Caretaker / Facilities and Maintenance Assistant you will unlock/lock the site, respond to alarms and incidents, and complete routine checks that keep everyone safe.
The Caretaker / Facilities and Maintenance Assistant will also assist with deliveries, contractors and stock, ensuring the premises, grounds and car park are clean, safe and ready for learning.

Your duties as the Caretaker / Facilities and Maintenance Assistant include:
