Caretaker (Grade 4) – Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council

Neway International are seeking a Caretaker (Grade 4) to join our client based with Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. The temporary role will provide essential caretaking and site support during a vacancy period pending recruitment.

Responsibilities
  • Open and close the site daily, including responsibility for alarms and security systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general caretaking duties.
  • Monitor health and safety standards across the premises.
  • Support cleaning and site management tasks as required.
  • Liaise with staff and contractors to ensure smooth operation of building services.
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to work split shifts (early mornings and afternoons).
