Governors Of Hesleden Primary School is seeking a part-time premises operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness and secure school premises. Responsibilities

• Designated key holder and responsible for locking and unlocking premises.
• Set security alarm systems and respond to alarms when required.
• Carry out regular health and safety checks.
• Identify and report any deficiencies external or internal.
• Monitor and report fuel, electricity and water readings.
• Monitor stock of cleaning materials.
• Arrange collection of waste.
• Communicate with customers in accurate spoken English.

Job description

Duties include: To carry out a full range of duties to provide for high standards of cleanliness and general security and maintenance of school premises. To include handy person activities and cleaning duties.

• Designated key holder.
• Responsible for locking and unlocking premises.
• Setting security alarm systems as required.
• Responding to security alarm or other call outs.
• Regular legal, health & safety checks.
• Identify and report any deficiencies external or internal.
• Monitor & report fuel, electricity, water and taking readings.
• Monitor stock (cleaning materials).
• Arranging collection of waste. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
