Overview

We are looking for reliable, proactive individuals to join our bank of casual staff, supporting the smooth, safe and welcoming operation of our college, working under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards across our site.

Duties could include:

Responsibilities
  • Help keep our campus safe and secure by unlocking/locking buildings, monitoring alarms, and ensuring key systems such as heating and lighting are functioning efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for students, staff and visitors—inside and out.
  • Monitor and report Health & Safety concerns, including proactive checks of the grounds.
  • Replenish consumables and ensure facilities are ready for daily use.
  • Tackle routine cleaning tasks and occasional deep-clean duties, including external areas and contractor clear-ups during closure periods.
  • Manage minor repairs such as replacing bulbs, fixing simple plumbing issues, or refreshing décor.
  • Keep pathways and entrances safe in adverse weather with gritting and snow-clearing.
