Netherthorpe School in Staveley, Chesterfield, is seeking an efficient, friendly, and self-motivated caretaker to join our Site team. You will support the site with security, lighting, heating, cleaning, maintenance and operation of plant, porterage, and grounds maintenance to assist site users and community groups.

The role reports to the Premises Manager; the closing date is 9am Monday 16 November 2026. The Trust’s safeguarding policy applies, and an Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Formación

• Experience in security and premises maintenance (security of premises, lighting, heating, cleaning, maintenance).
• Operation of plant and general site duties including porterage and grounds maintenance.

Netherthorpe School are seeking to appoint an efficient, friendly, and self-motivated caretaker to join our Site team. Reporting to the Premises Manager, the successful candidate will provide a service to the site consisting of security of premises, lighting, heating, cleaning, maintenance and operation of plant, porterage, grounds maintenance and handy person duties, to provide an efficient support service to the site users and community groups.

The closing date is 9am Monday 16 November 2026 and the interview date is to be confirmed.
