Job summary

Carers Trust North Wales is hiring individuals to provide practical support to unpaid carers in their own homes, enabling carers to take essential breaks. The role includes offering respite visits, typically 2–3 hours per visit with about two visits daily, and may require DBS and references.

Experience is preferred but training can be provided; Welsh language skills and own transport are essential. Successful candidates will be reliable, flexible, and committed to high-quality care, with mileage

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people who would like to be part of our local charity. We provide high quality respite services to carers in their own homes, looking after the person they care for to allow them to have a much needed break (average visit is 2-3 hours / average 2 visits per day).

Experience preferred but training can be provided. Good rates of pay £13.45 per hour, plus mileage, travel time and holiday/sickness pay and access to a Blue Light card (thousands of discounts online & in the high street for care sector workers ).

Welsh Speaker and own transport essential.

All successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS (advantageous if you currently have one) and provide reference checks.
