Right At Home of Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic individual that enjoys improving the quality of life for others. A client in Wakefield, NE will need full‑time care throughout the week, including assistance with mobility, dressing, grooming, bathing, and cleaning. The caregiver will also help prepare meals, give medication reminders, and assist with laundry and chores as needed.

Location: Wakefield, Nebraska 24/7 Case (All Shifts available!)

April Start Date

A Caregiver provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Performs various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, safety supervision, and companionship activities for clients in their residences.

Essential Functions
  • Provides companionship for the client, accompanying them to appointments, walks, social/recreational activities, assisting with hobbies, etc.
  • Light housekeeping – vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning.
  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions; may shop for groceries.
  • Provides supervision of safety for all activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, transfers, and ambulation.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or G.E.D.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile.
